  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — conversion tracking and professional audience measurement

Full category descriptions and retention periods are in the Cookie Policy.

6. Analytics & advertising

Where you consent to analytics and advertising technologies, we and our analytics and advertising partners may use online identifiers and related information for the following purposes:

  • Website analytics
  • Traffic measurement
  • Conversion measurement
  • Advertising attribution
  • Campaign optimization
  • Audience measurement
  • Remarketing or targeted advertising where enabled
  • Understanding how visitors interact with Rueben Group advertising and the Website

Technologies we currently use or may use include:

  • Google Analytics — website analytics and traffic measurement
  • Google Ads Conversion Tracking — conversion measurement and campaign optimization
  • Meta Pixel — advertising attribution, audience measurement, and remarketing
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag — conversion tracking, professional audience measurement, and campaign optimization

Under some state privacy laws, these activities may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or as "targeted advertising." You may decline or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie Preferences. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal and other legally required browser-based privacy preference signals where applicable. For category descriptions and retention periods, see the Cookie Policy.

7. How we share information

We share information only as needed, with:

  • Service providers — hosting, content delivery, email delivery, form processing, storage, analytics, and advertising platforms, acting on our instructions
  • Project partners — where reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or to perform work, such as clients, general contractors, engineers, or suppliers
  • Professional advisors — legal, accounting, and insurance advisors
  • Authorities — where required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property
  • Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets

8. No sale of personal information

Rueben Group does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may disclose certain identifiers, device information, and internet or other electronic activity information to analytics and advertising providers as described in this Privacy Policy. Depending on applicable law, certain disclosures may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising. Where required by applicable law, we provide applicable rights and choices regarding those activities.

We do not sell the personal information of minors. You may opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing through Cookie Preferences or by transmitting a Global Privacy Control signal.

9. Data retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected and to meet legal, contractual, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations. General guidelines:

  • Inquiries and quote requests — typically retained while the opportunity is active and for a reasonable period afterward for business records
  • Project and contract records — retained for the periods required by contract, warranty, insurance, and applicable law
  • Employment applications — retained as required by applicable employment recordkeeping rules and for future consideration where permitted
  • Analytics data — retained by the analytics provider, generally up to 14 months from last activity
  • Server logs — retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, restricted administrative access, and reputable hosting and storage providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through website forms.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have rights including:

  • Access to your personal information
  • Confirmation of whether we process your personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information
  • Deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Data portability, where required, in a commonly usable and machine-readable format
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information where applicable
  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent
  • Appeal of certain denied privacy requests where required by applicable law
  • Freedom from unlawful discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise a right, email info@ruebengroup.com with the details of your request. Rueben Group may reasonably verify the requester's identity before fulfilling a request. We will verify your request using information already in our records and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will inform you of the outcome and, where applicable, of your right to contact your state attorney general.

Some records — such as executed contracts, safety documentation, and financial records — must be retained by law and may be exempt from deletion.

12. State privacy laws

We provide the rights described above to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and others as those laws take effect. Texas residents may exercise rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act using the contact method above.

13. Global Privacy Control and browser signals

Our website recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal and other legally required browser-based privacy preference signals where applicable. When GPC or an equivalent legally recognized opt-out signal is detected, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of personal information for that browser, and advertising technologies are not loaded unless you later opt in through Cookie Preferences.

14. Employment applicants

Information submitted through our careers forms is used to evaluate your application, communicate with you about opportunities, verify qualifications and certifications where relevant, and satisfy employment recordkeeping obligations. Applicant information is accessible only to personnel involved in hiring and to service providers supporting our hiring process. Please do not include Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers in an online application.

15. Children's privacy

The website is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Third-party websites

The website may link to third-party sites and platforms. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review the privacy notices of any third-party site you visit.

17. Visitors outside the United States

Rueben Group operates in the United States and our services are offered within the United States. If you access the website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised. Where required by applicable law, Rueben Group will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially different processing of personal information occurs.
